HIGHLANDS EXPRESS
The first ever Sydney region departure for steam locomotive R766!
Sydney or Strathfield to Goulburn (return)
-
Saturday, 15 April 2023
It's not often you get to travel behind two steam locomotives at once - and that's exactly what you will enjoy on this fun day out. Newly restored diesel 42107 will haul the train from either Sydney Terminal or Strathfield to Enfield Yard where our two mighty steam locomotives will take over.
5917 and R766 (leading) will double head our train, unassisted by diesels, all the way to Goulburn. Here you will have several hours to explore, have lunch and shop. Why not join us? This will be a day for the history books!
