First Class Duo Non Air-conditioned — $200 for two people
Spacious seating for two in a four seat booth with table in a 'N' type classic non air-conditioned heritage saloon carriage. Booths are fitted with tables.
First Class Duo Lounge Car — $200 for two people
Seating for two in an air-conditioned lounge carriage. This carriage is not fitted with tables however a small amount of portable tables may be available on request.

Experience the romance of steam on a day trip from Lithgow to Kandos or Rylstone and return. Your journey travels along the former Gwabegar Line through the spectacular Capertee Valley - the second largest canyon in the world!
The town centre in Rylstone is a short walk from the former railway station and you will have ample time to visit this delightful country town before the return trip to Lithgow. The trip is ideal for small and big children alike!

A limited buffet service will be available on this train. In the spirit of The Picnic Train, we encourage passengers to bring their own picnic hampers.
BYO alcohol is allowed, however, large eskys are not permitted.
Babies and Toddlers:
Babies in arms and small toddlers not requiring a booked seat may be brought along at no additional cost.
Prams, wheelchairs and walkers:
Due to space restrictions and for the safety of all aboard, large prams and mobility equipment cannot be taken aboard the train. You may bring a small collapsible pram that can be stored in overhead luggage racks. The pram must be collapsed and ready to bring aboard when the train arrives at the platform. If in doubt please call us for further information.
Toilets:
Toilets are available in most carriages. These will be locked while in metropolitan areas.
Mobile Phones:
There are no charging points on the heritage carriages. It is recommended that you bring an external battery charger for your mobile devices.
